But that's not all they controlled. They also controlled the companies that were anxious to put their products in front of the millions of people who watched football on television. While they lined their pockets with millions of dollars, very few knew exactly what was going on -- until, finally, eight top executives with FIFA were charged with bribery, breach of trust and other allegations.
